Dog Town

I don't really know what to do with this blog, but today I was thinking about how I work from home and 2 years ago I would have been racing out my door headed for the 6 train to take me down to the bowels of lower Manhattan. Every morning I would pass Papaya King, probably the best known hot dog stand in New York City, and it was directly across the street from my apartment - of course (the ease of access to copious amounts of nitrates has certainly shaved years off my life). The aroma of a freshly grilled dog at 9am is not something you generally savor but I could definitely go for one of thes guys right about now. This picture is not the best quality (cell phone), but I believe it's one chili dog and one with sauteed onions and possibly cheese or mustard. I typically would reward myself with one after a hard day of serving pop-up ads on the Internet. I could have one finished by the time I crossed third avenue and walked into my lobby, conceiling the evidence from Stephanie, but Sugar and Ferris were always the wiser.
